"I remember he took a nasty shot to the head (in the title sequence of Guardians 2) and got several staples in his head. He came right back to work ready to go again," he shared with fans. "He was an absolute stud. He was always a gentleman and professional. He'll be missed. My prayers go out to his friends and family, especially his daughter."
Tony McFarr's death was completely shocking and unexpected, announced by his mother to TMZ. The stunt double was very young, only 47 when he passed away on Monday this week at his house in Orlando.
TMZ reports that "Tony was active and healthy" and that they were told that "the medical examiner's office is running toxicology tests now. The Orange County Medical Examiner confirms to [TMZ] they have the case... and that an official cause is still pending."
